When I was a kid, there were a few movies I loved and watched obsessively.
Watership Down was one at some point - maybe I was 8. And when I was little older, Sixteen Candles.
But one of my all time faves was Pete's Dragon. I could go on and on about its awesomeness, but you'll just have to take my word - or go see it yourself!
Recently, we joined the Disney Movie Club to round out our Disney collection. And lo and behold - there was Pete's Dragon, in Blu-Ray!
So of course I had to get it!
Today, Tot and I watched it for the first time. To my surprise, he was pretty much mesmerized, especially during the music scenes or whenever Elliot was on the screen.
