It's going to be a shock heading back to the cold bleak winter of Chicagoland.
We made the most of it by heading out early and visiting The Living Desert, a really cool zoo in Palm Springs, right up against the foothills.
We got to feed the giraffes:
Tyler enjoyed more fun with Grandma and Grandpa:
And got to ride on the carousel:
